Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some of the most frequently asked questions about portrait photography sessions.
You can reach out by emailing me directly. Once we discuss your needs, I’ll confirm availability and send details about the process. Sessions can take place outdoors, in your home, or at a rented studio depending on the style you’re looking for. I’m based in Helsinki but very open to traveling for projects. Travel fees may apply depending on the location. Turnaround is usually within 2–4 weeks, depending on the scale of the project. I’ll always give you an estimated delivery time when we book. Yes, every delivered photo is edited for color, light, and tone. Subtle retouching is done where necessary, but I aim for a natural and timeless look. As a photographer, sharing selected images is essential to showcase my work and connect with new clients. I take care to post respectfully and never in a way that feels exploitative. By booking a session, you agree that I may use some of the images on my website, Instagram, or portfolio. If you’d prefer certain images to remain private, please let me know in advance. Yes, I shoot film mostly for personal projects. But I have also shot on film e.g. during weddings and portrait sessions. You may ask for images shot on film for an extra fee. Clients receive a personal-use license for prints and social media. For commercial use, publicity, or resale, separate licensing fees and agreements apply — please contact me with usage details and I’ll provide a quote. I back up files in multiple locations; drives and cloud storage. Upon delivery, the client will get a link to a personal online gallery for download. The images are stored in the gallery for 6 months and after this, the link will be inactive.
Feel free to contact me, in case you have anything else on your mind that you'd like to ask. br>
